Hey there, Welcome to my blog. Let me introduce myself, I am Pallavi. Born and brought up in a joint family in a small beautiful green village. The green village has always given a healthy life and I loved whatever cooked on traditional burner "CHUL".
I love the taste of food cooked on Chullha. My mom is an excellent cook. Like I said I grew in joint family so in my house there were many excellent cooks like my grandmother, my aunts and my mom... So I never felt the need to cook.
After my marriage, my mother-in-law was there to help me to prepare food for family, So again opportunities were limited to trying my own recipes :)
Now I'm settled in US with my hubby Hemant and my little princess Arya, but still sometimes I am getting help from my mother or mother-in-law ;)
After moving to US I am trying my best to cook delicious and healthy food for my family.
I miss the lovely food of Maharashtra, and that finger licking Tadka....
Although I moved to US, Maharashtrian food still connects me to my home in India.
Being a foody like my hubby I tried to give the TADKAWALA taste through my blog....

ReplyDeleteGreat blog post. It’s useful information. read me I admire what you have done here. I love the part where you say you are doing this to give back but I would assume by all the comments that is working for you as well. Do you have any more info on this?
